On the 22nd May five black belts from the Taranaki Taekwon-Do club were reconised for their work in the community and were awarded the titles of Honorary Ambassadors of New Plymouth prior to there visit to Maroochydore Australia for the Master Wheatley seminar. It was a great honor for the club black belts. We had a very entertaining afternoon with the New Plymouth Mayor Peter Tennent and councillor Allison Rumball.

We would like to wish Tom and his family all the best as they make there way back to Holland. Tom was with the Taranaki Taekwon-Do club for six years and in that time he has developed into fine young man with a very good standard of taekwon-Do who was liked by everyone. Tom will certainly be missed by the instructors and his Taekwon-Do peers. Black Belt training's will not be same without you Tom. Best Wishes for the future.
